Service
Foot Consultation & Assessment
Every new client starts here. We take a careful look at your feet, listen to your concerns and build a treatment plan around what we find.
- Who it's for
- Every new client, and anyone with a new concern
- We check
- Skin, nails, pressure points, circulation and sensation
- You leave with
- A personal treatment plan
Why we start with an assessment
Two people with the same complaint, say a thick toenail, can need very different care. The assessment lets the practitioner identify what's really going on, such as a fungal infection, a callus caused by pressure, an ingrown nail or a diabetic risk, before any treatment begins.
It also means we can tell you honestly when something needs a doctor rather than foot health care.
We'll look at
- Nail shape, thickness and colour
- Corns, calluses and areas of pressure
- Cracks, dryness and skin infections
- Signs of reduced circulation or sensation
- How your footwear fits and wears
- Your health history and medications

What to bring to your first visit
Simple habits between visits make your results last longer. We'll tailor this advice to you at your appointment.
- A list of your current medications
- The shoes you wear most days
- Any notes from your doctor about your feet
- Questions you'd like answered
Is the assessment required?
Yes. All new clients complete a Foot Consultation & Assessment before any other service, so treatment can be planned safely.
Will I get treatment on the same day?
Ask when you book. Where it's suitable, treatment may follow the assessment; your practitioner will advise what's best for your feet.
What if you find something serious?
If we notice signs that need medical attention, we'll explain what we've seen and recommend that you see your doctor.
